History is alive in the New Town of Cumbernauld, in Scotland. In the early 2000s I inherited a set of tape recordings and transcripts from my late grandmother, who had been President of the Cumbernauld Historical Society back in the 90s. At the time she asked me to make these all available on t'internet one day. So here they are.
